Allentown, PA (November 2, 2012) – Senior Paige Horrigan tallied 16 kills and just one error for a .500 hitting percentage to go along with three blocks leading the DeSales University volleyball team past Wilkes University, 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-17), and into the Freedom Conference Championship game for the fifth time in the last six years.

The Bulldogs (13-17) will take on top seeded Eastern University, who also won 3-0 vs. Misericordia on Friday night, in the title match on Sunday at Eastern beginning at 2:00 pm.  It will be the fifth straight year these two Freedom Conference stalwarts will meet in the playoffs.  EU took the regular season meeting, 3-0, last week at DeSales.

On Friday night P. Horrigan was at her best as she moved within two solo blocks of becoming the fifth player in school history with 100 and added to her career total in kills with 917 entering Sunday's match.

Sophomore Julie Blessing added eight kills and two blocks, while senior Eden Reichard finished with six kills and 12 digs.  Junior Macy Farrell had four kills and hit .231 and freshman Kait Anderson added six kills and two blocks.

Sophomore Amanda Wallitsch led the defense yet again with 16 digs and sophomore Nicole Morin played well with 14 digs and two service aces.  Sophomore Brooke Horrigan finished with 39 assists
