Scranton, PA (September 20, 2012) – Sophomores Colin Sulpizio and Damien Romaine combined on the shutout and three different players scored goals as the DeSales University men's soccer team recorded its second straight shutout, 3-0, at Marywood University on Thursday afternoon.

Senior Padraic Farrell started the scoring with his third goal of the season, scoring off an assist from fellow senior Jonathan Balfour in the 20th minute.  Freshman John Kilduff added DSU's second goal just 7:35 before the half, scoring off an assist from senior Steve Krause.  It was Kilduff's first career goal as the 2-0 score stood into the half.

The Bulldogs added its third and final tally just 1:20 into the second half as junior Adam Berish tallied his third marker of the year, scoring on a header after a long throw-in from senior Tyler Nolan.

Sulpizio made the only save needed in the shutout as DSU held a 14-9 advantage in shots.

DeSales returns to action on Saturday, September 22nd when they travel to Alvernia University for a non-conference game beginning at 4:00 pm.
