Annville, PA, (September 4, 2012) – Lebanon Valley College scored three goals in a span of 10:42 late in the second half squandering a 1-0 Bulldog lead as the Flying Dutchmen handed DSU its first loss of the 2012 season, 3-1, on a soggy Tuesday afternoon.

DSU (1-1-1) took a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute when senior Jonathan Balfour scored off the left post after a feed from fellow senior Steve Krause and that lead stood into the half.

The Bulldogs continued to lead as the game entered the 71st minute when LVC's Stephen Simonian scored on an assist from Connor McDonald.  The Flying Dutchmen added the eventual game-winner at the 79:51 mark on an unassisted tally from Luke Stouffer and Andrew Cooper provided the insurance goal just 53 seconds after Stouffer's goal.

Sophomore Colin Sulpizio made seven saves before receiving a red card and exiting the game after LVC's third goal.

DSU will return to action on Saturday when they take on Brooklyn College in the first game of the Valiant Classic at Manhattanville College beginning at 6:00 pm.
