	Center Valley, PA (September 5, 2012) – Seven different players registered a point and four different players scored a goal led by sophomore 
Megan Strauser with a hat trick in an 8-0 win over Cedar Crest College for the DeSales University women's soccer team on Wednesday afternoon.
	
	Strauser tallied the first two goals of the game in the fifth and 14th minutes of the game with the second coming off an assist from freshman 
Jamie Barna.  Fellow sophomore 
Alyssa Brandt made it 3-0 on a feed from sophomore 
Ashley Koren, while Strauser and Brandt each connected once more each to end the half on assists from each other.
	
	In the second half Koren scored her first two goals of the season to start the second half on assists from freshman 
Allie Scirrotto and Barna and Barna recorded the final goal on an assist from junior 
Ariel Merkt in the 54th minute.
	
	Freshman 
Taylor Cowan needed to make just one save to record her first career shutout in her first career game as the Bulldogs out-shot CCC, 29-3, for the game.
	
	DeSales returns to action on Saturday when they take on Western New England College at the Simmons College Tournament beginning at 1:00 pm.
