Center Valley, PA (October 12, 2013) – After an early goal just 6:34 into the game gave EU a 1-0 lead, the Eagles added two more goals in the second-half en route to a 3-0 win over DeSales in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

Eastern (10-2, 2-0 Freedom) scored off a free kick in the seventh minute by Austin Stover and added insurance goals in the 51st and 59th minute to cruise home for the win in the second-half.

EU enjoyed a 24-10 edge in shots, while the corner kicks were about even, 8-7, in favor of the Eagles.

Junior Colin Sulpizio made 10 saves in between the pipes as the Bulldogs will look to rebound on Wednesday, October 16th when they host FDU-Florham in another Freedom Conference game beginning at 3:00 pm.
