2013 Season Photo Gallery

Immaculata, PA (October 3, 2013) – Sophomore Meryah Harding scored twice, both goals assisted by senior Jen Burley, as the DeSales University field hockey team blanked Immaculata University, 3-0, in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon.

Sophomore Jesse Marshall started the scoring, knocking in a centering pass from junior Alison Malatesta just 5:01 into the game.

Harding added her first tally of the game exactly 12 minutes later when Harding scored off a pass from Burley on a corner.  That lead stood into the half as DeSales dominated the first-half out-shooting the Mighty Macs, 11-1.

Harding added her second goal of the game, again off an assist from Burley at 66:28 to provide the final score and sophomore Becky Rasmuson recorded her first shutout of the season with four saves.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday when they host Eastern University in a Freedom Conference game beginning at Noon.
