Purchase, NY (October 8, 2013) – Freshman Lauren Hess had 17 kills and just one error for a .615 hitting percentage and the Bulldogs hit .396 as a team in a 3-0 (25-15, 25-10, 25-14) sweep of Manhattanville College in Freedom Conference action on Tuesday evening.

Hess produced her 17 kills on just 26 attack attempts and added four service aces.  Four other Bulldogs had at least six kills in the win including senior Claire Depew with seven kills and a .375 hitting percentage, junior Chrissy Banos with seven kills and a .353 hitting percentage, freshman Arielle Nicholson with six kills and a .600 hitting percentage, and senior Emilie Baker with six kills and a .267 hitting percentage.

Junior Amanda Wallitsch tallied a team-high 16 digs and added four aces and senior Madeline Svrcek finished with 14 digs.  Freshman Lisa Wallitsch had 20 assists and graduate student Justine McNulty finished with 17 assists in the win.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday when they host PSU-Berks and Widener University in a tri-match beginning at 10:00 am.
