Center Valley, PA (October 9, 2013) – #23 Franklin & Marshall College scored three second-half goals following a scoreless first-half as the Diplomats blanked the Bulldogs 3-0 in a non-conference game on Wednesday afternoon.

After a scoreless first-half that saw the Diplomats (9-2-1) out-shoot the Bulldogs (7-6), 9-2, F&M turned up its play in the second-half taking a 1-0 lead just 2:03 into the half when Derek Pawlush scored on the back post off a pass across the goalmouth by Ben Beaver.

The lead grew to two goals on a tally from Beaver at 64:16 and the exclamation point was scored in the 71st minute by Connor Finn.

Franklin & Marshall finished with a 25-5 edge in shots and had a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks.  Junior Colin Sulpizio made four saves in between the pipes and freshman Ryan O'Neill had one save.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday when they travel to Eastern University for another important Freedom Conference game beginning at 2:30 pm.
