Center Valley, PA (September 19, 2013) – Sophomore Stevie Castellani registered one goal and one assist leading the DeSales University men's soccer team past Marywood University, 2-1, in a non-conference game on another perfect day Thursday afternoon.

Junior James Breuning started the scoring 9:57 into the game pushing home a corner feed from Castellani just in front of the goal line.  The goal was the first of Breuning's career.

Castellani then added the insurance goal and eventual game-winner 20 minutes into the game firing a laser from about 30 yards out into the left corner of the net giving him his first goal of the season and the fourth of his career.

The Pacers (2-1-2) got on the board in the 56th minute on a header from Zach Oster off a corner feed from Daniel Lopez but the Bulldog defense closed the door on any serious chances for Marywood the rest of the way.

Junior Colin Sulpizio made four saves in the win.

DSU returns to action on Saturday when they host Alvernia University in another non-conference game beginning at 3:30 pm.
