Glenside, PA (October 14, 2014) – Arcadia University scored three first-half goals en route to a 4-1 win over the DeSales University field hockey team snapping the Bulldogs five game winning streak on Tuesday evening.
AU (9-5) started the scoring at 13:42 when
Amanda Hess scored off an assist from
Taylor Dalisera and
Molly Goldstein made it 2-0 just 5:07 later off an assist from Hess.
Dalisera then scored her first of two goals at 21:25 to give the Knights a 3-0 halftime lead and scored her second 8:30 into the second-half.

Alyssa Malatesta got the Bulldogs on the board at 59:58 scoring her seventh goal of the season off an assist from junior
Alessandra Farnesi.
Junior
Becky Rasmuson made two saves in the loss as DSU was out-shot 18-14 for the game. AU had a 19-6 edge in penalty corners.
The Bulldogs return to Freedom Conference action when they travel to Misericordia University with game time set for 1:00 pm.
