Center Valley, PA (November 12, 2014) – Down two starters the DeSales University volleyball team was unable to rally down 2-1 falling to Neumann University, 3-2 (18-25, 25-20, 25-20, 21-25, 15-11), in the quarterfinals of the ECAC Southeast Region Tournament on Wednesday evening in Billera Hall.
 The Bulldogs season comes to an end with a 23-13 overall record, while the Knights advance to the final four of the tournament this Saturday at Lebanon Valley College.  DSU was without seniors 
Julie Blessing and 
Chrissy Banos due to injuries to both players but gave the Knights a battle forcing a fifth set before falling short at the end of the match. 
Freshman 
Logan Wieziolowski led the attack with 12 kills and four blocks, while senior 
Brooke Horrigan and sophomore 
Abbey Buck each added 10 kills in the win.  Buck entered the match with just one kill in her career.  Freshman 
Sienna Heist added eight kills and freshman 
Timera Kemp played very well with five kills and four blocks in the loss. 
Sophomore 
Lisa Wallitsch stuffed the stat sheet with five kills, a .500 hitting percentage, 39 assists, 25 digs, and two blocks, while senior 
Amanda Wallitsch finished with a match-high tying 26 digs.  Freshman 
Bernadette Wood had 16 digs and junior 
Lizzi Levis finished with 13 digs. 
DeSales posts 20+ wins for the fifth time in head coach 
Michele Zabinski's 10-year coaching career and for the 15
th time in team history.
