Three players reached double digits for the Bulldogs (7-3 overall) including sophomore Kuity Slanger with a career-high 15 points, junior Cody Deal with 13 points, and freshman Aaron Burton with 12 points.

The Mules (5-4 overall) got 20 points from John Hunter, 18 points from Nick Rindock, 16 points from Jon Schreer, and 15 points from Brandon LaRose.

Muhlenberg hit 50.0 percent from the field (14-for-28) in the opening half taking a 14-13 lead on a three from LaRose at the 11:51 mark and never trailed the rest of the way.

That three from LaRose ignited a 10-0 run that put the hosts up eight (21-13) at the 9:34 mark as the lead peaked at 12 points in the first-half before the Mules settled for a 38-28 halftime edge.

The Bulldogs started quickly in the second-half using an 8-2 run early to get within four points (42-38) on a lay-up from Burton.

MC responded though using a 24-7 run over the next 6:48 to take a 66-45 lead with 6:13 left to play and DeSales was unable to recover.  Hunter did most of the damage for the Mules during the run scoring 11 of the 24 points and Rindock added two three's during the spurt.

MC shot 54.8 percent from the field in the second-half and finished the game shooting 52.5 percent.  The Mules hit 12 treys on 24 attempts (50.0 percent) and controlled the glass out-rebounding the Bulldogs, 42-28.  DSU finished the game shooting 34.5 percent from the field.

The Bulldogs are now off for the Christmas holidays and won't return to action until January 3rd when they host Elizabethtown College on the first day of the Red Robin Holiday Tournament at 2:00 pm in Billera Hall.
