Brittany Hansrote her first collegiate win as a head coach on sunny Wednesday afternoon.
DSU (1-1) enjoyed an 18-9 advantage in shots and a 9-5 edge in penalty corners in the win. Rasmuson made three of her four saves in the second-half preserving a 2-0 halftime lead.

Alyssa Malatesta got the scoring started tipping in shot from junior
Meryah Harding off a corner at the 21:35 mark. Junior
Jesse Marshall made it 2-0 just 2:18 before the half knocking in a Harding shot that was blocked just in front of the goalkeeper's pads.

Alison Malatesta tallied the lone second half goal taking a long pass ahead of everyone from Marshall and firing a shot into the left corner past a charging keeper at 49:17.
The Bulldogs will look to make it two straight on Sunday when they return to action hosting Elmira College beginning at 1:00 pm.
