Box Score Carlisle, PA (September 6, 2014) – Dickinson College broke open a close game with two goals over the final five minutes of the first-half and cruised in the second-half en route to a 4-0 win over DeSales University on Saturday afternoon.
After a PK got the Red Devils on the board at the 24:46 mark, DC scored twice in the span of 2:12 with under five minutes left to play in the first-half to take a 3-0 lead into the break and added one more in the second-half to record the win.
Dickinson out-shot DeSales, 22-10, and had a 6-4 edge in corner kicks. Senior
Colin Sulpizio made 12 saves in between the pipes for the Bulldogs.
DSU returns to action tomorrow when they travel to Elizabethtown College for a non-conference game beginning at 2:00 pm.
