Center Valley, PA (October 24, 2015) – The DeSales University volleyball team swept a home tri-match defeating Wheaton College (MA), 3-1 (17-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-23), and Widener University, 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-19) to run its win streak to four straight and eight of its last nine on Saturday afternoon.
 Match #1 (W/3-1 over Wheaton)DSU shook off a sluggish first set by winning the next three to earn the win.  The Bulldogs hit just .037 in the opening set but rebounded with solid attack and terrific defense in the final three frames. 
Freshman 
Gabby Savite' led the offense with 15 kills and a .293 hitting percentage and fellow freshman 
Taylor Antoniewicz played well with nine kills and a .316 hitting percentage as they each finished with two blocks. 
Junior 
Lisa Wallitsch added 41 assists, three aces, and 12 digs, while freshman 
Natalie Gray (25 digs) and sophomore 
Bernadette Wood (23 digs) were outstanding in the back row. 
Match #2 (W/3-0 over Widener)The Bulldogs cruised in the second match of the day hitting .235 in the first set, .345 in the second set, and .353 in the third set for a hitting percentage of .309 for the match, its second highest in a match this season. 
Savite' again led the offense with 12 kills and a .458 hitting percentage, while sophomore 
Logan Wieziolowski totaled nine kills and a .316 hitting percentage, junior 
Jess Swanson had nine kills with a .353 hitting percentage, and senior 
Kait Anderson finished with 10 kills. 
Wallitsch finished with 38 assists and is now just four helpers shy of her second straight 1,000 assist season and Gray again led the back row with 14 digs. 
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday, October 28
th when they host FDU-Florham in big MAC Freedom match beginning at 7:00 pm in Billera Hall.
