Center Valley, PA, (November 4, 2014) – The DeSales University volleyball team begins its quest for a second MAC Freedom Championship on Wednesday when they host FDU-Florham in a rematch of last week's epic five-set win giving DSU the #2 seed and setting up the rematch in Billera Hall.
DeSales enters with a 21-10 overall record after posting a 6-1 mark in the MAC Freedom to earn the second seed, while FDU-Florham returns to Billera Hall with a 21-14 overall mark and a 4-3 record in the MAC Freedom.
There will be admission for the event with ticket prices set at $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for senior citizens, and $2.00 for students with a valid ID. All children under the age of six will also be admitted for free.

DeSales/FDU-Florham All-Time Series:DeSales owns a 25-9 lead in the all-time series between the two teams and have taken each of the last seven meetings including the 3-2 win this season. Tonight's match will be the fifth career meeting in the MAC Freedom postseason tournament with the Bulldogs having won each of the first four. DSU is also 12-3 all-time vs. the Devils at home in Billera Hall.
Regular Season Meeting:The Bulldogs came alive midway thru the fourth set trailing 18-12 to score 10 of the next 11 points to take a 22-19 lead and eventually the set to force a fifth set. In the fifth set the score was tied at eight when DeSales scored seven of the last eight points to win 15-9. Freshman

DeSales in the Freedom Conference post-season:DeSales is making its 13
th appearance in the Freedom Conference Tournament and its ninth straight. The Bulldogs have been to the Freedom Conference championship game in seven of their last eight appearances, winning the title in 2007. DSU owns an 8-11 record in the Freedom post-season.
