Center Valley, PA (December 12, 2015) – The DeSales University men's basketball team shot 53.6 percent and committed just six turnovers en route to a 75-57 win over local rival Muhlenberg College on Saturday afternoon in Billera Hall.
The Bulldogs (6-3) made just 4-for-17 from three-point land but couldn't miss otherwise hitting 26-for-39 (66.7%) from inside the arc in the win. Junior
Ryan Callahan was perfect 7-for-7 from the field totaling a game-high 16 points to lead DSU.

Kuity Slanger was one assist shy of a double-double with 11 points and nine dimes, senior
Cody Deal had 10 points, and freshman
Luke Connaghan had his first career double digit scoring game with 10 tallies off the bench.
The Mules (3-5) were led by
Brandon Larose with 13 points and
Nick Rindock with 12 points and nine rebounds.
Muhlenberg was out of the gates quickly taking an 8-2 lead before DSU scored seven straight points to take a one-point lead. The game went back and forth for the next few minutes as Muhlenberg led 13-9 before the Bulldogs used a 22-4 run over the span of 8:49 to take a 31-17 lead in the first-half. MC scored four straight points before sophomore
Brandon Bridy saw his jumper bounce thru the rim as time expired giving the hosts a 33-22 halftime edge.
The second-half was all DeSales as the lead went below double digits just once, 40-31, at the 15:18 mark and DSU led by as many as 20 points late in the game.
DSU did a terrific job committing just six turnovers for the game as compared to 15 for the Mules leading to a 22-5 edge in points off turnovers in favor of the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs also dominated the paint enjoying a 46-24 scoring edge in the lane.

A.B.E Doors and Windows player of the game honors with his first double digit scoring line and a team-high five rebounds in the win.
DeSales is off for finals next week and the Christmas holidays the following week before returning to action on December 30
th traveling to Medger Evers College with game time set for 3:00 pm.
