St. David's, PA (April 2, 2015) – Junior 
Steven Wallace fired an eight-shutout, striking out five leading the DeSales University baseball team to a 7-0 win over Eastern University in a Freedom Conference game on Thursday afternoon. 
Wallace only allowed one runner to reach third base all day and retired the side in order three times on the afternoon. 
DSU scored in four straight innings starting in the fifth inning when sophomore 
Tyler Sweeney reached on an error and came around to score on a double play. 
In the sixth junior 
Jay Maletz knocked in a run with a sacrifice fly and sophomore 
Danny Licamara singled home fellow sophomore 
Mike Kacergis.  Kacergis knocked in two runs in the seventh with a two-out RBI double and in the eighth junior 
Colby Kulig knocked in a run with a sacrifice fly and Maletz was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded plating sophomore 
Richie Lancashire. 
Licamara led the offense going 4-for-5 and freshman 
Konner Schneider and sophomore 
Tommy DePaul each had two hits.  Kacergis and Maletz each had two RBIs in the win. 
The Bulldogs are scheduled to return to action on Saturday when they travel to Delaware Valley College for a Freedom Conference doubleheader beginning at 1:00 pm.
