Gwynedd-Valley, PA (September 13, 2016) - Sophomores Max Cortina and Justin Habick each scored unassisted goals erasing a 1-0 halftime deficit lifting the DeSales University men's soccer team past Gwynedd-Mercy University, 2-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.

After GMU (2-3) took a 1-0 lead into the half, DSU (2-4) dominated play in the second half to earn the win.  Cortina tied the game in the 69th minute and Habick scored the eventual game-winner in the 84th minute to give the Bulldogs its second win of the season.

Senior Ryan O'Neill made two saves in between the pipes.  DSU had a 7-3 shots on goal advantage and a 7-5 edge in corner kicks.

The Bulldogs are back in action when they travel to Summit University for another non-conference game on Saturday afternoon.
