Center Valley, PA (March 29, 2017) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse team used another strong defensive effort allowing just two goals for the second time in the last three games in a 10-2 win over Centenary College in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.
The Bulldogs (3-4) forced 27 Cyclone (4-2) turnovers, 17 in the first-half, taking a 5-1 lead at the half after finishing the half with four straight goals. Â DSU scored the first two tallies of the third quarter to open up a 7-1 lead and never really looked back from there.
DeSales out-shot Centenary, 34-13, and had two more ground balls in the win.Â

 Justin Monaghan each had three goals and one assist to lead the scoring attack while juniorÂ
Josh Harman had one goal and three helpers in his first game back from injury.  FreshmanÂ
Eric Magro added two tallies and sophomoreÂ
Tom Pryor scored once.  SeniorÂ
Tyler Newman had two assists.
Freshman
Frank Krug continued to terrorize opposing attackmen forcing seven more turnovers and picking up four ground balls.  SeniorÂ
Tyle Davis also had three caused turnovers.  FreshmanÂ
Jack Carney had four ground balls, seniorÂ
Jake McNamara won 7-of-14 face offs and sophomoreÂ
Matt Barry was solid in net making eight saves.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday when they host FDU-Florham in the first MAC Freedom game of the season at 7:00 pm.
