Clearwater, FL (March 7, 2017) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse team fell behind early and was unable to recover falling to Clark University, 10-6, in the first game of the Bulldogs' spring trip to Florida.
Clark (2-2) scored six of the first seven goals to take a 6-1 lead and led 7-3 at the half. Â DeSales scored two in a row to end the third and start the fourth quarter to pull within three goals (8-5) but Clark followed with two straight tallies to regain control and earn the win.

Bryan Weber each totaled one goal and one assist.  SeniorÂ
Tyler Newman had two assists and seniorÂ
Justin Wilson and freshmanÂ
Justin Monaghan scored once.  FreshmanÂ
Kevin Monaghan rounded out the scoring with an assist in the loss.

Sean Palen had a team-high tying four ground balls and forced three turnovers, while freshmanÂ
Frank Krug had four caused turnovers.  McNamara won 6-of-17 face-offs and sophomoreÂ
Matt Barry finished with 10 saves and four ground balls in goal.
The Bulldogs are back in action Thursday when they take on St. John Fisher College beginning at Noon.
