Media, PA (September 26, 2017) - The DeSales University women's tennis team stayed unbeaten on Tuesday afternoon sweeping PSU-Brandywine, 9-0, in non-conference action.
Doubles
Senior
Kelly Nguyen (Macungie, PA) and sophomore
Amber Achenbach (Wind Gap, PA) teamed at the No. 1 position and earned an 8-1 win, while freshman
Sabrina Ricciardi (Staten Island, NY) and
Gabby Serratore (Wyoming, PA) teamed at the No. 2 spot and won 8-1. Â PSU-Brandywine forfeited the No. 3 doubles point.
Singles
Nguyen also earned a win at the No. 1 singles spot winning 6-2, 6-0, sophomore
Sarah Chan (Cerritos, CA) won 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 2 spot, freshman
Alex Rodier (Clayton, NC) earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at the No. 3 spot, and sophomore
Kelsey Kazlauskas (Wyndmoor, PA) won, 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 4 spot. Â Brandywine also forfeited the No. 5 and 6 singles points.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday, October 3rd when they host Moravian College beginning at 4:00 pm.
