Radnor, PA (September 6, 2017) - The DeSales University men's soccer team scored three second-half goals breaking a scoreless tie at the half in a 3-0 win over Cabrini University on a rainy Wednesday evening.

After both teams took seven shots and were held scoreless over the first 45 minutes of play, the Bulldogs broke through with the eventual game-winner in the 64th minute when junior Justin Habick (Effort, PA) scored on an assist from fellow junior Michael Kirby (Bensalem, PA).

DeSales got its insurance goal in the 85th minute when junior Zach Reichard (Bethlehem, PA) scored unassisted and DSU added a third goal with 1:24 left as Kirby set-up fellow junior AJ Schroettner (Nazareth, PA) for the exclamation point.

DeSales finished the game with an 18-11 advantage in shots and a 9-2 lead in corner kicks.  Senior Dan Sulpizio (Philadelphia, PA) made five saves to record his second shutout of the season.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday when they host Widener University for the first home game of the season beginning at 3:00 pm.
