Women's Soccer Win Streak Snapped at Four in 4-1 Loss to Elizabethtown

Center Valley, PA (October 23, 2018) - The DeSales University women's soccer team saw its four-game win streak come to an end falling to Elizabethtown College, 4-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.

How it Happened
  • The BlueJays scored twice in the first-half to open up a 2-0 lead.
  • EC got one more to start the second-half before DSU was able to get one on the board cutting the margin down to two goals.
  • Elizabethtown pushed its lead back to three in the 71st minute posting the final tally.

  • Sophomore Rachel Medlar scored DSU's lone goal on a header off a free kick from freshman Gabby Torchia in the 68th minute.
