Hilton Head, SC (March 6, 2018) - The DeSales University women's tennis team rolled past Heidelberg University, 9-0, in its second match of the spring trip on Tuesday afternoon.

The Bulldogs won in straight sets in five of the six singles matches and lost just five games in doubles action.

Senior Kelly Nguyen (Macungie, PA) and sophomore Amber Achenbach (Wind Gap, PA) teamed at the No. 1 spot, 8-3, the sophomore duo of Sarah Chan (Cerritos, CA) and Kelsey Kazlauskas (Wyndmoor, PA) won 8-1 at the No. 2 position, and freshman Alex Rodier (Clayton, NC) paired with sophomore Amanda Becker (Camp Hill, PA) to win 8-1 in the No. 3 spot.

Nguyen won 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 1 spot, Achenbach was a 6-1, 6-0 winner in the No. 2 spot, and Rodier earned a 6-1, 6-1 win in the No. flight.

Chan won 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 4 position, freshman Gabby Serratore (Wyoming, PA) won 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 5 spot, and Kazlauskas earned a hard-fought, 2-6, 6-0, 1-0 (10-2) win in the No. 6 spot.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Thursday when they take on Defiance College.
