Hilton Head, SC (March 9, 2018) - The DeSales University won five of six singles matches rallying for a 6-3 win over Albion College in it final match of its spring trip to Hilton Head on Friday afternoon.

After losing two of three doubles matches the Bulldogs (6-3) took five of six singles matches to earn the win.

Senior Kelly Nguyen (Macungie, PA) and sophomore Amber Achenbach (Wind Gap, PA) were the lone winners in doubles action winning at the No. 1 spot, 8-4.

Nguyen and Achenbach also won at the No. 1 and 2 singles positions, 6-3, 7-5 and 8-3.  Freshman Alex Rodier (Clayton, NC) was a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8) winner at No. 3 singles, sophomore Sarah Chan (Cerritos, CA) was a 6-3, 6-1 winner at the No. 4 spot, and sophomore Amanda Becker (Camp Hill, PA) won 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 6 position.

The Bulldogs return home now and will return to action on March 24th vs. Arcadia University.
