Center Valley, PA (April 28, 2018) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team finished the 2018 season with a big 16-4 win over Wilkes University in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

• The Bulldogs dominated from the very start of the game on Saturday scoring the game's first 15 goals including a 13-0 lead at the half before posting the final margin.
• The win gives DSU one more conference win that last year in DeSales' second season after starting the program at the start of the 2017 season.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Junior Katie Kingsland led the scoring with four goals and freshman Eilis McCall had three goals and one assist.
• Freshman Sami Stahl also had four points with two goals and two assists.
• Senior Kelly Meade finished with two goals and one assist and won six draw controls in her final game.
• Sophomore Alyssa Mantzouranis and freshman Katie Stordy each had one goal and one assist and senior Maggie Zaleski scored twice.
• Freshman Julia Astram scored once and senior Sydney Mursko rounded out the scoring with two assists.
• McCall led the Bulldogs with eight ground balls and Stordy had five draw controls.
• Freshman Kyra Myers and Rachel Sheubrooks combined to make seven saves.

For the Foes

• Kyra Boccio had three goals and Sierra Duman had one goal.
• Sarah Carlini made seven saves in goal.
