Center Valley, PA (April 28, 2018) - The DeSales University women's tennis team clinched the #3 seed in next week's MAC Freedom postseason tournament with its 6-3 win over King's College on Saturday afternoon in the regular season finale.

The Bulldogs will travel to FDU-Florham in the first round of the postseason tournament on Tuesday with a match time to be announced.

DSU took two of three doubles matches on Saturday to open up a 2-1 lead as senior Kelly Nguyen teamed with sophomore Amber Achenbach at the No. 1 spot to win 8-1 and freshman Alex Rodier paired with sophomore Amanda Becker to win 8-4 in the No. 3 flight.

In singles play DSU won four matches as Achenbach was a 6-2, 6-1 winner in the No. 2 spot and Rodier won 6-2, 7-5 in the No. 3 spot.  Sophomore Sarah Chan also won in the No. 4 lfight, 6-2, 6-3 and Becker was DSU's third double winner with an 8-6 win at the No. 6 flight.
