Gwynedd-Valley, PA (September 12, 2018) - Freshman Drew Monteleone-Haught and sophomore Sean Tunney each scored second-half goals breaking a scoreless tie lifting the DeSales University men's soccer team past Gwynedd-Mercy University in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened

• After a scoreless first-half, DeSales broke the tie in the 70th minute when Monteleone-Haught scored his first career goal off an assist from sophomore Kishan Modessa.
• Just 3:23 later Tunney added the insurance tally on an assist from senior Michael Kirby.

• It was Tunney's first goal of the season and Modessa's first career assist.
• The assist from Kirby was his fourth of the year and the 18th of his career moving him into 10th place all-time.
• Sophomore TJ Corcoran made five saves to earn his first shutout of the season.
