Center Valley, PA (September 20, 2018) - The DeSales University men's tennis team opened its home schedule with a 6-3 win over local rival Moravian College in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon.
The win is the second straight over Moravian and just the third in 29 career meetings between the two schools.
DSU started things off with two wins in doubles play as seniorÂ
Austin Wesch teamed with sophomoreÂ
Dominic Ferraro to win 9-7 at No. 2 doubles and freshmanÂ
Nolan Beck paired with juniorÂ
Ahmad Kanan to wiin 8-1.
The Bulldogs then won points in #1, #4, #5, and #6 singles to close out the win.

Danny Lynn was a 6-1, 4-6, 1-0 (14-12) winner in the No. 1 flight, Wesch earned a 6-2, 6-2 win at the No. 4 spot, Beck earned a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 5 position, and Kanan finished things off with a 6-3, 6-2 win at the No. 6 slot.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday when they host PSU-Brandywine beginning at 11:00 am.
