Kylie Honnick-Payne led the DeSales University field hockey team past Widener University, 2-1, in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened
- The game was scoreless into the 59th minute when Honnick-Payne drew a stroke after being tripped by the goalkeeper in the circle. Brader scored the first stroke to give DSU a 1-0 lead.
- The second stroke was caused after a shot was blocked from going in by a foot and Honnick-Payne scored this time to make it a 2-0 Bulldogs lead.
- Widener scored off a corner with just 53 seconds left as DSU ran out the rest of the clock.
Top Bulldog Performers
- It was Brader's and Honnick-Payne's first goals of the seaosn and the first strokes of the season for the Bulldogs.
- Junior Katarina Polyviou made four saves in between the pipes for the Bulldogs.

- Madi Radnoff scored WU's goal and Lexie Eberly had an assist.
- Sabrina Roberto made four saves.
