Wilkes-Barre, PA (October 15, 2019) - The DeSales University women's soccer team blanked King's College, 4-0, to stay unbeaten in both MAC Freedom play and in its last 10 games on Tuesday evening as head coach
Greg Ridout became the program's all-time leader in wins with #53.

How it Happened
- DSU scored the game's first goal at 25:16 when sophomore Sam Riccardi headed home a clear attempt from a King's defender in the box.
- Senior Sydney Amato made it 2-0 at 32:54 knocking home a centering pass from freshman Sam Monteforte and Monteforte made it a three goal game just 43 seconds before the half scoring on a loose ball after a failed clear in the box.
- The Bulldogs added one more goal in the second-half as freshman Tess Rodgers scored on a corner kick.
Top Bulldog Performers
- Riccardi and Amato's goals were the second of the season for each, while Monteforte netted her third, and Rodgers scored her fourth.
- Sophomore Meghan Corbran also had an assist on Rodgers goal.
- Junior Lia Gaccione and freshman Alina Vertiz combined to make three saves in the win.
For the Foes
- Tara Bender had nine saves for the Monarchs.
