Madison, NJ (February 9, 2019) - The DeSales University field hockey team fell at FDU-Florham, 5-0, in the MAC Freedom championship game on Saturday evening.

• The Devils fought off three early Bulldog corners and got on the board first in the sixth minute and added two more goals before the end of the first quarter to take a 3-0 lead.
• FDU scored its fourth goal on a stroke in the second quarter to take a 4-0 halftime lead.
• DeSales was unable to get anything going in the second-half and FDU-Florham added one more tally late in the fourth quarter to post the final tally.
