Jordan Holmqvist scored a season-high 17 points leading the DeSales University men's basketball team past Bryn Athyn College, 90-60, on day one of the Al Senavitis Memorial Tournament on Saturday afternoon in Billera Hall.

- The Bulldogs advance to the championship game of the tournament on Sunday taking on William Paterson University at 4:00 pm on Sunday. WPU was a 67-58 winner over Juniata in the other day one game.
How it Happened
- BAC started the game hot opening up a 9-5 lead before an 11-0 run gave DSU a 16-9 advantage at the 12:01 mark.
- It remained a seven-point game at the 8:43 mark when the Bulldogs used a 14-4 run thanks in part to eight points from junior Timmy Edwards to take a 35-18 lead and led 40-26 at the halftime break.
- The Lions were within nine points (42-33) early in the second-half and trailed by just 12 points five minutes into the half when junior Matt Kachelries and senior Ben Pratt hit back-to-back 3's to give DSU a 59-41 cushion at the 13:51 mark and the Bulldogs never looked back from there.
Top Bulldog Performers
- Holmqvist posted season-highs in points (17), assists (8), and rebounds (6) in the win.
- Edwards added 16 points off the bench and Kachelries also reached double digits with 14 points.
- Senior Alex House had nine points and nine boards and Pratt finished with six helpers.
For the Foes
- Tariq Moore led all scorers with 26 points and added five steals.
Inside the Box Score
- DeSales shot 52.3 percent from the field after torching the second-half nets at a 58.6 percent clip.
- The Bulldogs also hit 13-for-25 (52.0%) from outside the arc.
- DSU dominated the glass out-rebounding Bryn Athyn, 45-27, and their bench out-scored the Lions', 48-11.
