Women's Lacrosse Posts Fourth Straight Win; 16-8 over Immaculata

Immaculata, PA (March 20, 2019) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team won its fourth straight game besting Immaculata University, 16-8, in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

How it Happened
  • DeSales took control from the very beginning scoring the first five goals of the game before the Mighty Macs scored three of the final five goals of the half to pull within 7-3 at the break.
  • The Bulldogs opened the second-half with three straight to take a 10-3 advantage and never looked back from there.

  • Sophomore Eilis McCall had a strong game with three goals and four assists for seven points.
  • Sophomore Julia Astram had five goals, while freshman Azlin Myers finished with three goals and two assists.
  • Sophomore Katie Stordy and freshman Karlie Deeck each had two goals and one assist, while Stordy finished with six draw controls and five ground balls and Deeck had five draw controls.
  • Sophomore Sydney MacDonough finished with one goal.
