Center Valley, PA (March 30, 2019) - The DeSales University men's tennis team opened its MAC Freedom schedule with an 8-1 win over Eastern University on Saturday afternoon.

Doubles
The Bulldogs took a 3-0 lead in doubles play as sophomore Danny Lynn and senior Jorey Ferraro won 8-5 in the No. 1 flight, sophomore Dominic Ferraro and junior Jake McKinney won 8-5 in the No. 2 slot, and junior Ahmad Kanan and freshman Brahm Buoy won 8-0 in the No. 3 position.

Singles
DSU swept five of the six matches with Lynn winning, 6-0, 7-5, in the No. 1 flight and J. Ferraro earning a 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 win at the No. 2 position.  Senior Austin Wesch was a 6-3, 6-4 winner at the No. 4 spot, Kanan won 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 5 slot, and junior Ben Greb was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at the No. 6 spot.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday when they host Albright College beginning at 3:30 pm.
