Orlando, FL (March 4, 2019) - The DeSales University men's tennis team dropped both of its matches on day one of its spring break trip down south on Monday.
Match One (L/4-5 vs. Adrian College)
The Bulldogs fell behind 2-1 after the doubles matches as sophomoreÂ
Danny Lynn and seniorÂ
Jorey Ferraro teamed to win 8-5 at the No. 1 double spot.
DSU then split the six singles matches to fall one point shy of a win in its first match.
Lynn won 6-0, 6-4 in the No. 1 spot, freshmanÂ
Nolan Beck earned a win in the No. 5 flight, 1-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-4), and juniorÂ
Ahmad Kanan was a 6-3, 7-5 winner at the No. 6 slot.
Match Two (L/0-9 vs. Emerson College)
DeSales dropped its second match to Emerson College in the afternoon. Beck and Kanan both faired the best forcing third set pro-set tiebreaks before falling.
