Men's Lacrosse Rolls past Hilbert, 17-2; Starts Season 4-0

Box Score Clearwater, FL (March 5, 2019) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse team opened the season with its fourth straight win rolling past Hilbert College, 17-2, in the first of two games down south in Floriday.

The Bulldogs dominated this one from the very start scoring the first 15 goals of the game to roll to its fourth straight victory.

Top Bulldog Performers

Senior Joe Neggia led DeSales with four goals, while sophomore Zach Bowen and freshman Sean Wiser each totaled three goals and one assist.
Freshman Kai Taylor had two goals and sophomore Rob Heaney, junior Eric Magro, sophomore Matt Motto, and freshman Noah Tuohey, and junior Justin Monaghan all had one goal.
Junior Matt Brown had two assists and senior John Ramos, freshmen Jake Link, Timmy Smith, and Kurtis King all had one helper.
Junior Frank Krug finished with an assist, four caused turnovers and six ground balls.
Sophomore Colin Corrado won 7-of-11 face-offs.
