Wilkes-Barre, PA (April 10, 2019) - The DeSales University men's tennis team earned its third straight win, 7-2, over King's College to stay unbeaten in MAC Freedom play on Wednesday afternoon.
Doubles
DSU took a 2-1 lead as sophomore
Dominic Ferraro and juniorÂ
Jake McKinney teamed to win at the No. 2 spot, 8-5. It was D. Ferraro and McKinney's fourth straight win together improving to 3-0 in the MAC Freedom. JuniorÂ
Ahmad Kanan and freshmanÂ
Nolan Beck won easily at the No. 3 position, 8-1 to improve to 4-0 in the No. 3 flight and a perfect 2-0 in conference play.
Singles
SeniorÂ
Jorey Ferraro was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at the No. 2 spot, earning his sixth straight singles win and Kanan won 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 5 flight, equaling J. Ferraro's win streak with his sixth singles win as well.
McKinney had a hard fought win in the No. 3 flight, 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7) and seniorÂ
Austin Wesch was a 6-3, 6-0 winner in the No. 4 slot. Beck rounded out the winners with a 6-1, 6-1 win at the No. 6 flight.
The Bulldogs are right back to action on Thursday when they host Immaculata University beginning at 3:30 pm.
