- After exchanging goals to start the game, DSU took control scoring eight straight goals to take a 9-1 lead and held an 11-4 advantage at the half.
- DSU took a 15-5 lead early in the second-half before the Eagles scored three straight to pull within three at (15-8).
- DeSales responded scoring five straight goals to take a 20-8 lead and never looked back from there.
