Purchase, NY (April 29, 2019) - The DeSales University baseball team wrapped up its regular season schedule with a 9-3 loss at Manhattanville College on Monday afternoon.
The loss means that Manhattanville and DeSales finish the regular season tied in the MAC Freedom standings with the Valiants earning the tiebreaker dropping DeSales to the #3 seed in the upcoming MAC Freedom postseason tournament this weekend.
The Valiants led 2-1 thru six innings before scoring twice in the seventh and five times in the eighth to break the game open.
DSU had just five hits in the game, two each from freshmanÂ
Robby Lamm and seniorÂ
Charlie Barebo and one from juniorÂ
Alex Condello.

Jonathan Pozniak took the loss despite pitching well allowing two runs over four innings, striking out five.
The Bulldogs will begin play in the MAC Freedom postseason tournament on Friday when they get a rematch with the Valiants at 7:00 pm at Owls Field in Reading, PA.
