Selinsgrove, PA (September 21, 2019) - The DeSales University volleyball team dropped both matches on day two of the Susquehanna University Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Match #1 (L/0-3 vs. RIT)
The Bulldogs battled dropping the first and third sets in close fashion.

Leading DSU was senior Morgan Shoemaker with seven kills and a .316 hitting percentage.  Junior Grace Merritt also played well with eight kills and a .333 hitting percentage.

Sophomore Audrey Wolfe finished with 25 assists and 12 digs.

Match #2 (L/0-3 vs. Mount Union)
DSU dropped its fifth straight match in the final match of the weekend.

Shoemaker once again led the offensive charge with 10 kills and added two blocks, hitting .318.

Freshman McKenzie Brady had 13 digs and senior Taylor Aron added 11 digs in the loss.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday when they host Delaware Valley University in a MAC Freedom match beginning at 7:00 pm.
