Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Allentown, PA (September 28, 2019) - The DeSales University volleyball erased two straight 2-1 deficits and came back to earn two five set wins sweeping a tri-match at Muhlenberg College with Dickinson College.

Match #1 (W/3-2 vs. Dickinson - 25-20, 20-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-13)
The Bulldogs took the first set 25-20 before dropping the second and third sets to fall behind.  DSU rallied to take the fourth set hitting .278 and then got ahead early in the fifth set and earned a 3-2 win with a 15-13 fifth set win hitting .259 in the final set.

Leading the way was senior Morghan Shoemaker with 19 kills, hitting .351, and adding five blocks.  Freshman Diane Pugay also reached double digits in kills with 13 and added three blocks.

Sophomore Audrey Wolfe finished with 44 assists, while sophomore Georgia Traynor had 13 digs and freshman McKenzie Brady finished with 14 digs and six kills.

Match #2 (W/3-2 vs. Muhlenberg - 25-17, 22-25, 25-27, 25-19, 15-11)
Once again DSU got out to an early lead winning the first set, 25-17, before dropping the second and third sets.  In the fourth set, DSU went down early but rallied near the middle of the set and won 25-19 to extend the match to a fifth set in which the Bulldogs never trailed to take the match.

Shoemaker was nearly unstoppable posting 26 kills, hitting .418, and adding eight blocks.  Pugay added 12 more kills and freshman Delanie Zohler played well with 14 kills.

Wolfe had 58 assists, Traynor picked up a team-high 28 digs, senior Taylor Aron had 20 digs and Brady and senior Jess Smith each had 17 digs in the win.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Stevens for a MAC Freedom match beginning at 7:00 pm.
