Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 New London, CT (September 7, 2019) - The DeSales University volleyball team dropped both matches on day two of the Coast Guard/Connecticut College Tournament falling to both Coast Guard Academy and Tufts University on Saturday.

Match #1 (L/0-3 vs. Coast Guard Academy)
DeSales dropped its first match of the day to Coast Guard Academy by scores of 25-17, 25-12, and 25-22.

Leading the way was senior Morghan Shoemaker who had eight kills and three blocks, hitting .375.  Fellow senior Cristal Fernandez led the defense with 17 digs.

Match #2 (L/0-3 vs. Tufts)
The Bulldogs once again fell in three sets by scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-19.

Shoemaker finished with six kills and two blocks, hitting .267, while freshman McKenzie Brady added seven kills and six digs.  Sophomore Audrey Wolfe totaled 22 assists and six digs.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Moravian College for a non-conference match beginning at 7:00 pm.
