Women's Basketball Wins 12th Straight, 87-34, over Delaware Valley

Doylestown, PA (February 22, 2020) - The DeSales University women's basketball team won its 12th straight game, 87-34, over Delaware Valley University in the regular season finale in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

The Basics

  • The win is DSU's 12th straight as they finish the regular season 21-4 overall.
  • DeSales will be the #1 seed in the MAC Freedom postseason tournament and will host the #4 seed, Eastern University, in the semifinals on Wednesday in Billera Hall with game time set for 7:00 pm.
How it Happened
  • DeSales was in control from the very start in this one scoring the first 11 points of the game and holding a 24-4 lead after one quarter.
  • The Bulldogs held the Aggies to just nine second quarter points and took a 44-13 lead into the halftime locker room.
