Timmy Edwards recorded a double-double with 27 points and 12 rebounds leading the DeSales University men's basketball team to a season sweep of FDU-Florham, 73-65, in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening at the Ferguson Recreation Center.

- The win, coupled with Eastern's loss at King's on Wednesday, moves the Bulldogs into a three-way tie for first place in the MAC Freedom standings with five games left in the regular season.
How it Happened
- DeSales never trailed in this one and was tied just one time (2-2) opening up a 10-4 lead early.
- The Bulldogs methodically pushed its lead to double digits (40-30) with 44 seconds left in the first-half settling for an eight points advantage at the break.
- DSU was quick out of the halftime locker room using a 13-3 run early to take its largest lead of the game (55-38) with 14:46 left.
- It was a 16-point game (59-43) a few minutes later when the Devils got hot from deep hitting over the next 6:02, using a 19-4 run to climb within one point (63-62) with 5:57 remaining.
- Edwards scored back-to-back baskets to start a quick 6-0 run giving DeSales' a 69-62 lead with 4:04 to go and the Bulldogs defense held the Devils to just three points over the final six minutes to earn the road win.

- Edwards' double-double was his fifth of the season, shooting 13-for-19 from the field.
- Senior Kweku Dawson-Amoah had 14 points and added seven rebounds.
- Senior Ben Pratt also had double-digits with 10 points and added seven assists and five steals.
For the Foes
- Oliver Ortman led FDU with 17 points.
- Kenneth LaRocca had 13 points and seven assists.
- Devon Murray scored 14 points and Cameron Saintil added 11 points off the bench.
