Casselberry, FL (March 11, 2020) - The DeSales University men's tennis team finished up its trip to Florida with a 7-2 win over Wentworth Institute of Technology on Wednesday afternoon.
DSU swept all three singles matches to take a 3-0 lead. JuniorÂ
Danny Lynn and freshmanÂ
Thomas Blomquist won 8-6 in the No. 1 flight, FreshmanÂ
Will Pollick and sophomoreÂ
Nolan Beck were a hard fought 9-7 winner in the No. 2 slot, and senior
Ahmad Kanan teamed with sophomoreÂ
Brahm Buoy to win 8-3 in the No. 3 spot.
Lynn was a dual winner taking a win in the No. 1 flight, 7-6 (7-3), 2-6, 1-0 (10-6), seniorÂ
Jake McKinney won 6-1, 6-4 in the No. 4 flight, Pollick won 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 5 slot, and Kanan was a 6-3, 6-0 winner in the No. 6 position.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to return to action on Monday, March 23rd when they host Delaware Valley University in MAC Freedom action beginning at 3:30 pm.
