Arlington, VA (March 7, 2020) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team fell to Marymount University (VA), 19-4, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

• MU scored the first three goals of the game and took a 7-1 lead just after the halfway point of the first-half.
• The Saints took a 10-3 lead into the halftime locker room.
• After trading goals to start the second-half, MU finished the game scoring eight straight markers to take home the win

Top Bulldog Performers

• Junior Eilis McCall led DSU with one goal and one assist.
• Junior Julia Astram ,freshman Kelsey Pogonyi, and senior Alyssa Mantzouranis also each scored once.
• Astram, sophomore Azlin Myers, and freshman Tori Brennan each had three draw controls.
• Junior Rachel Sheubrooks made nine saves in goal.

For the Foes

• Emily Peters had three goals and two assists to lead the Saints.
• Kaleigh Dunham had four goals and Sarah Agrillo had three goals and one assist.
• Shea Smith and Tylor Young each scored three times.
• Meaghan Gagnon had six saves.

Inside the Box Score

• Marymount out-shot DeSales, 36-13.
• MU also had a slim 20-18 edge in ground balls.
