Orlando, FL (March 9, 2020) - The DeSales University men's tennis team dropped its spring trip opener by a narrow 5-4 margin against University of Northwestern (MN) on Monday morning.

The Bulldogs opened with a doubles win at the No. 1 slot by junior Danny Lynn and freshman Thomas Blomquist, 8-5.

The singles matches were all tight especially in the first three flights where all three went to a third set tiebreak.

Lynn earned a 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7) win the No. 1 flight and sophomore Nolan Beck was a 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-5) winner in the No. 3 flight.  Sophomore Brahm Buoy was the final singles winner taking a 7-5, 6-4 win in the No. 6 slot.

The Bulldogs are right back to action tomorrow when they take on Ursinus College at 8:00 am.
