Center Valley, PA (October 23, 2021) - The DeSales University volleyball team dropped both matches on day two of its weekend home quad falling to both Messiah University and Rowan University on Saturday in Billera Hall.
Match #1 (L/0-3 vs. Messiah)
The first match of the day saw DSU struggle to hit the ball hitting -.029 for the match. DSU had chances throughout with the match totaling 24 ties and 14 lead changes. Messiah hit .129 for the match.

Shannon McDevitt finished with five kills and hit .308 adding two blocks to lead the Bulldogs. JunjorÂ

Match #2 (L/0-3 vs. Rowan)
DeSales dropped a tight first set that featured 14 ties and five lead changes but were unable to recover in another three set loss.

Delanie Zohler had a team-high nine kills and McDevitt finished with five kills hitting .231 with three blocks.
Maddalone finished with six kills and 13 digs, while sophomoreÂ
Grace Grandinetti added 17 assists and 13 digs.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday hosting Stevens with the winner earning the top seed in the MAC Freedom postseason tournament. Match time is 7 PM in Billera Hall.
